Biographie:
Chris Balboa started his career in 2002 in a famous
clublounge, where he had big success and a huge crowd
everytime he played there.
His uniqe style of house music, a mixture of vocal, tribal,
deep, dub and electro house, heself named “Funky Forward”.
Soon he had several club residencies and played many local
clubs. During this time he had the opportunity to play
alongside the big names of the scene like Chris Lake, Tom
Novy, Syke ‘n’ Sugarstarr and many many more. He also
supported internationally-known events like Envy My Music,
F**k Me I'm Famous, Space World Tour just to name a few.
Chris made a name for himself and played all over southern
Germany and was invited to big festivals and played for
internationally renowned companies like Hugo Boss and Tommy
Hilfiger.
Chris Balboa is recognized as one of the most talented DJs
and due to this, he was signed to a agency which holds
superstars like Robbie Riviera, George Morel and the Global
Deejays.In 2008 he started producing and remixing. After
some bootlegs and edits, his first single and remixes are
going to be released at the end of the year.
Chris Balboa startete seine DJ-Karriere im Alter von 18
Jahren. Er trat sofort seine Residency in der Bar & Lounge
Seepost in Reutlingen an, wo er durch seine
spannungsgeladenen House-Sets den Mythos um den überaus
erfolgreichen Ultimate Caipi Day mitbegründete. Während
dieser Zeit kam es zu Bookings in ganz Süddeutschland, wie
Stuttgart (Milch & Bar), Freiburg
(Karma, Buddha Club), Nürtingen (Safe Club), sowie Färberei
4, P&K und La Fontaine Reutlingen und vielen weiteren
kleineren Locations. Außerdem arbeitete er für renomierte
Firmen, wie z.B. die Hugo Boss AG, TIGI Haircare
Deutschland, Volksbank Esslingen und Die LIGA Reutlingen.
Nach 4 erfolgreichen Jahren, wurde es Zeit für neue
Herausforderungen. So trat Chris im Januar 2006 seine
Residency in der Färberei 4 an. Außerdem spielte er im The
Paris (Stuttgart) su.casa (Ulm) und vielen weiteren Clubs,
wo er mit DJs wie z.B. DJ Soheil (El Divino/Ibiza, 8 Seasons/
München) und Dan Rocks (Los Angeles) zusammenarbeitete.
Seit seinem Gig im Safe Club, wo er Carlos Mendosa von
Guerilla Events kennenlernte, wurde die Zusammenarbeit stets
intensiviert. So ergaben sich mehrere Gigs bei der
Erotica-Partyreihe im La Fontaine. Daraus resultierte für
2007 eine Residency im renomierten House-Club La Fontaine
mit interessanten Gast-DJs aus ganz Europa und namhaften
Promotern wie
Mind Group (Space/Ibiza) und Guerilla Events, die ihre
Aktivitäten auf Frankreich und Spanien ausdehnen werden.
Chris spielte im La Fontaine bereits mit Chris Lake, Dave Mc
Cullen, Abel Riballo, Dee Nice, Julie Marghilano uvm.
